Prof James GOH obtained his BSc (Mechanical Engineering, 1978) and PhD (Bioengineering, 1982) from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He is Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the National University of Singapore. He is President, IUPESM; Past-President, IFMBE; President, BES (Singapore). He is Fellow of the Institute of Engineers, Singapore and chairs the BETC. He is also a Fellow of AIMBE and AAET. He chairs the Biomedical and Health Standards Committee’s TC on Medical Devices. He is advisor to the IUPESM World Congress 2021 (Singapore).
Prof Goh’s research interest is in musculoskeletal regeneration and actively promotes the field of biomedical engineering. He has published well over 150 international peer review journal papers, more than 500 conference papers and 12 book chapters.
